Have You Ever Been Asked a “Killer” Interview Question?

14th April 2008

Earlier this month we held another seminar, this time in the Copthorne hotel, as part of our CPD programme covering key issues in HR legislation for those lovely HR folk!

The seminar’s topic was “Recruitment Best Practice” and as always our legal eagle, Anna Denton from Morgan Denton Jones LLP, was on hand to offer her expertise.

Anna put together a really interesting presentation that provided attendees with a good understanding of the legalities of recruitment as well as an update on the checks employers must make on staff entitlement to work in the UK…Did you know that employers who fail to make the right checks at the right time and retain the right evidence of this face criminal prosecution and fines of up to £10,000?

The presentation involved a good amount of discussion between attendees, all of whom work within HR and management for businesses in and around Cardiff.

To finish off the seminar, our dynamic branch manager, Katey Mears, asked everyone to think of their “killer” interview questions…if you would like to see a copy of the collated questions please email learnmore@marblerecruitment.co.uk…it is interesting to see how many of the questions are aimed at finding out a candidate’s true personality!

If you are a manager yourself and you’d like to receive a copy of the seminar presentation and the collated interview questions please email learnmore@marblerecruitment.co.uk.
