An experienced Sales Engineer for a fast-growing Energy Management and Utilities Consultancy firm based in Cardiff.

The Company…

The company is a growing and ambitious business operating in the exciting and rapidly changing energy and utilities sector.  The business thrives on helping UK businesses and organisations get the best energy and utility deal from first connections through to efficient usage.  Having won several ‘fast growth’ awards, they are set on a challenging path of further expansion.  The company now wishes to appoint a Sales Engineer to join their existing team in helping to deliver the substantial business growth programme fundamental to the company strategy.

The Person…

The ideal candidate will: 

• Have a relevant Electrical Engineering Qualification, Degree or equivalent
• Have commercial acumen and experience of client facing negotiations
• Be from the utilities industry however this is not essential

The Job…

Responsible for the day to day management and delivery of multi and single utility projects at client sites across theUK, the successful client will be able to account manage and negotiate business whilst providing the technical aspects of the role. 

Duties include: 

• Customer liaison and relationship management across allocated engineering projects
• Active involvement in the development of future business
• Account management including responsibility for P&L and invoicing
• Development and presentation of relevant engineering training
• Maintaining awareness of developments within the energy and utilities marketplace
• Representing the Company at client, utility, design team meetings

Duration:       Permanent

Hours:           08:30am -17:00pm    Monday to Friday

Salary:           £22k-£35k dependant on experience

Location:       Cardiff Gate
