An experienced Project Co-ordinator is now required to support rapid growth within the business.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of timely utility connections and diversions. The role involves working closely with statutory utilities, independent connection providers, asset owners and energy suppliers to ensure cost-effective utility connections within set deadlines and to administrate and progress all relevant issues involved in this process. This includes co-ordination / liaison with the customer and other members of the customers design team.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicating with utility personnel to ensure timely and cost-effective connections
• Communicating/liaising with clients/utilities to identify and resolve problems areas
• To work alongside Engineers / Project Co-ordinators to provide a top quality service to clients within necessary deadlines
• Data-entry and maintenance of relevant project databases
• Production and up-keep of work-related spreadsheets/reports
• Dealing with incoming data (via post, fax etc.) and processing internal enquiries
• Providing day to day administrative duties (filing, referencing, word processing etc.)
• Attending Client Meetings as and when required
• Any other duties as required by Engineer

• Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
• Previous experience within an office/administrative environment
• Previous experience of project management advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of the utilities industry advantageous but not essential
