Management Accountant

To work with the current Management Accountant to produce accounts to trial balance and produce a suite of timely and reliable management accounts and performance reports.

The Job...

• To produce accounts to trial balance and produce a suite of timely and reliable management accounts and performance reports
• To develop and control a centralised accounting system to ensure that accounts are effectively managed
• To investigate variances against budgets and provide analysis of differences in a reliable and timely manner
• To produce month end for Accounts Payable, VAT, Fixed Assets and general ledger in the finance system
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and cash flow forecasts
• To prepare the quarterly VAT return
• Any other task as required by the Financial Controller in order to meet the Finance Dept and Company goals and objectives

Hours:          Full Time Monday to Friday

Pay Rate:      £25k

Location:      Newport
