Junior Data Analyst 

We are offering you the chance to join an award-winning procurement services provider in the UK who believes that procurement should be every board’s trusted commercial advisor. 

What will you actually be doing?  

The key responsibilities of the Data Analyst include AP data categorisation, analysis, manipulating data, reporting and maintenance of information. The role will also include general procurement activities, supporting the procurement teams in various stages of the sourcing process. 

Your responsibilities will include… 

• Categorisation of AP data using client details and wider search facilities and in turn producing reports and metrics to meet client requirements.
• Perform data cleansing/analysis/manipulation.
• Maintain, develop and update knowledge management databases to produce client specific reports – identifying usages, peaks etc.
• Supporting purchasing analysts and engagement managers on various stages of the sourcing process.
• RFI/RFP Process – Issue, track, review and provide analysis.
• Contact with suppliers to establish company information (profile, product/service portfolio, area of coverage etc).
• Various research projects – Industry analysis, product research, supplier research etc.

Required Skills/Experience…

·         Further or Higher Academic qualification in a Maths related area.

·         Experience in a Purchasing or Finance environment would be advantageous.

·         Second Language skill – French, German, Spanish, Dutch would be beneficial.

·         Accuracy, attention to detail and ability to understand written and oral instructions.

·         Competent in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel.

·         Good written and verbal communication skills demonstrating a confident, professional approach to effectively interact with all areas of the business.

·         Must be service-orientated, able to work independently and under time constraints.

·         Ability to handle multiple tasks with changing priority and scope.

This is a Full Time, Permanent position with a starting salary of circa £15K. The company also offers a very generous benefits package.
